Wow!! I am absolutely stunned at the wonderful job that S.K. Logsdon has done with Lex. It was unlike anything I have ever read before. Everything about this story is unique. There is so much I want to say about this story but am unable to because it would completely spoil it!

Lex isn’t your average everyday girl. She’s one of a kind. I, myself, have never had the pleasure of reading about such an intriguing woman before. She had an extremely hard childhood. Due to her childhood she closes herself off emotionally from others except a very select few. Once you read her story you will be understand her standoffish ways. With the things she went through as a child it is amazing that she is sane. I absolutely adored her and I wish I had even just a smidgeon of the strength and courage that she has. 

Hmm…who will Lex end up with? There are several different possibilities, most of which you vote for at the time. However, there is one in particular that you just absolutely love! He is the perfect match for Lex. He accepts her without question, when most men would shun her. He’s hot, possessive, and knows just how to handle Lex. Not just any man would do for Lex, it’s takes a special one.

Overall, I loved this book! It was completely different from anything I’ve read before. The characters in the book were unique and fit perfectly with each other. The emotion S.K. Logsdon portrays was flawless. I genuinely felt for the characters, whether it is sadness, happiness, loneliness, excitement, or all the other emotions the characters felt throughout the book. S.K. Logsdon gets an A+ 5 amazing and wonderful stars!

Preston has been in love with his sister’s best friend, Ella, since he first really started noticing girls. He has bided his time in revealing his feelings until the right time. Unfortunately, for him the right time never came, until the night his sister got married and he came to Ella’s rescue. Now, he stops at nothing to get what he wants, and he wants her. He will not take no for an answer. Her pursues her and does not allow her to hide the new feelings she is developing for him. 

Ella has always found Preston the annoying, but fun, younger brother of her best friend. She’s always know he was a good looking man, but never harbored any romantic feelings for him, until he rescued her from a drunkard at Jo’s wedding and they shared a passionate kiss. Now, due to the unforgettable kiss and Preston’s confession she can’t get him off her mind. Because of bad past relationships Ella struggles with her feelings, worried that Preston will eventually unintentionally hurt her.

Becca Lee has done a great job in capturing and holding my attention. I really enjoyed her writing style. I felt I genuinely knew the characters. Her consistency throughout the book was perfect. The description of the characters and settings were wonderful. The passion between Preston and Ella was intense. I am extremely excited about the next book in the series, which is Jo and Liam’s story. Job well done Becca Lee!! I rate this book 5 wonderful and outstanding stars!

 

 
  Spending the last few years near the Queensland coast, Becca is rarely out of the sea or off the beach.
